we are for who we are.
For those who don't know, I've got my Sennheiser PX200 !
ANYWAY:
I applaud those who don't succumb to male desires.
There was this awesome article in today's (20/02/06) Life! section.
There was a lady who was born with frizzy hair. Classmates had fun throwing stuff into her hair and seeing if her hair could hold whatever, from M&Ms to sawdust. Naturally, she went to Uni and with the era of rebonded hair at that time (Fann Wong and other celebs etc), she eventually straightened her hair. My, after that, she turned heads and guys started to notice her. Yet, she felt she lost some of her dignity. Where did her lion's mane go?
Now we do notice that long, silky black hair and fair skin IS a man's desire. It is, indeed a symbol of feminism nowadays, but WHO set these rules? Men. Do we alter our bodies (and hair) for the sake of desire from the opposite sex? Whatever happened to individuality? Instead of supporting the stand of gender equality, these women are encouraging men to carry on the dominant role.
Why do people think one is weird just because he/she doesn't look/dresses like the rest?
There is a certain girl with a mohawk in my school, and I admit she can get bitchy at times. But she has a mohawk, and her friend recently POOFED her hair. And I respect them for not succumbing to male desires. I respect them for having individuality, to be who they are.
Sexual attraction, is it all young people think about these days?
"Ohh i have long flowing silky shiny smooth hair and i've got fair skin (aka i look like a completely spineless, brainless shu nu). surely many guys would want to fuck me." And they actually FEEL GOOD about this.
Jolin Tsai, the ultimate dumbfuck
D'oh. Generally, these guys have bad taste, blind and are dumbfucks who like to fuck other dumbfucks because only dumbfucks will willingly have sex with other dumbfucks.
He he he .
